MINA / Cantilever CD single and B-sides - 2008

MINA / Cantilever single - 2008

The “Mina” single, originally released on CD by Square Root Records as SQR006 in October 2008. The track, which is a rumination of sorts on personal connections and inevitability against a vaguely post-apocalyptic backdrop, is taken from the Cantilever full-length Sudden Silence, and features a multilayered saxophone performance by Square Root recording artist Pat Yagiela. On the CD single, Mina was accompanied by two B-sides, “Ice Wall” and the “Great Escape,” each of which featured a key use of vocals, with Trevor Edmonds providing a frenetic drum track that served as the basis of “Ice Wall.”
